You are cordially invited to the upcoming events during the SIDS4 International Conference in Antigua and Barbuda this week together with Peace Boat US and Blue Planet Alliance, along with many of our global partners, youth representatives and island leaders. Peace Boat is an international NGO with Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC of the United Nations, which since 1983 has been conducting advocacy and education programmes onboard a chartered passenger ship with the logo of the SDGs on the hull of the ship. Sailing to more than 100 ports of call annually, we are especially aware of the importance of protecting our ocean and coastal communities. We organize several programs focused on the SDGs, including education for leaders from Small Island Developing States onboard the ship. Our “Youth for the SDGs:” scholarship program is now officially endorsed by IOC UNESCO and held in partnership with various organizations including Blue Planet Alliance, working towards a 100% renewable energy future by 2045. Join us at SIDS4 and we look forward to seeing you very soon!
