Intern or Volunteer
Peace Boat US offers an excellent opportunity to gain insight and experience in the civil society, non-profit, non-governmental field, with one of the most unique and interesting NGO’s in the world – experience that will help you stand out.
Interns and volunteers support office administration, attend events at the UN as Peace Boat US representatives, support campaigns, projects, and educational programs through outreach efforts, and write news and blog articles about our activities. Especially valuable skills and qualities include being multi-lingual (Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, French, and Japanese are especially helpful), graphic design, networking, photography, communications, public speaking, and very importantly, a passion to support the issues that Peace Boat US works on.

Volunteer
Volunteers support Peace Boat US work, and advocacy for shared goals like the UN SDGs, on an event or project basis. Our biggest opportunity is during Peace Boat visits to NYC 1-2 times each year and helping us organize large-scale events onboard the ship.
Whether you would like to support an event, work on a specific project (e.g. nuclear abolition), have a particular skill set to offer, or would just like to get involved, please contact us for more information!
