Hosted in celebration of United Nations World Oceans Day and the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, this gathering will bring together leaders from the United Nations, private sector, youth movements, and civil society to foster collaboration on ocean and climate action.
The evening will spotlight the role of blue innovation and cross-sector partnerships in advancing sustainable ocean solutions, strengthening inclusive governance, and supporting resilient communities as we work toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Building on the Ocean Gala & Blue Innovation Reception, we are calling for sustainable fashion designers and artists to showcase their work at the Ocean Gala on June 10!
We are seeking creatives whose designs reflect sustainability, ocean conservation, and social impact. This is an opportunity to present your work to a diverse, global audience of leaders, advocates, and innovators engaged in advancing ocean and climate solutions.

Peace Boat US Ocean Stewardship Awards
We are now accepting nominations to celebrate the individuals, communities, and innovators dedicated to putting our ocean at the forefront of marine research, nature-based solutions, conservation efforts and innovation to be announced at the Ocean Gala!
We are excited to announce the Peace Boat US Ocean Stewardship Award for SDG 14: Life Below Water, to celebrate and honor the individuals and organizations, whose actions have a transformative impact on the sustainability of our shared ocean. We are pleased to announce four awards for those dedicated to putting our Ocean at the forefront of marine research, nature-based solutions, conservation efforts and innovation. We look forward to receiving your nomination for your favorite Ocean Champion by 20 May 2026!
For this inaugural award, the 2026 theme is Unity for our Shared Ocean. Peace Boat US is seeking nominations of individuals and organizations whose work delivers solutions to unite the ocean community, restore marine and coastal ecosystems, reduce climate risks, and create sustainable livelihoods for ocean communities. The four categories are: Local and Community Impact Award, Youth Initiatives, Ocean Literacy, and Blue Innovation.
