Peace Boat US is excited to welcome its Winter – Spring 2026 intern team, bringing together students and early-career practitioners from diverse academic backgrounds and institutions with shared interests in ocean stewardship, climate action, and international cooperation. Throughout the internship the team will engage in a wide range of activities, including the High Seas Treaty or BBNJ-related event programming and planning, UN engagement, and initiatives focused on sustainability and environmental education. Their work will span research, communications, and event coordination, while also supporting community-based actions and international program preparation. The new intern team will work on programs related to Peace Boat’s global voyage and port-based programs, supporting outreach and coordination efforts connected to activities in Latin America. The interns will play a key role in preparing for and welcoming the Peace Boat upon its arrival in June, for programming related to UN World Oceans Day.
