As a committed campaigner for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Peace Boat will be participating in activities around the United Nations General Assembly, the UN SDG Summit and the Secretary General’s Climate Action Summit during this month of September.
To start Climate Week in New York Peace Boat will co-host a special event with local partners on Friday September 20, ahead of the Youth Climate March, entitled “Creating the Future we Want – working towards the 2030 Agenda and Climate Action”. This event will focus on climate action and ocean conservation with a special focus on youth mobilisation, and provide a networking opportunity for United Nations delegates, civil society, youth, artists, industry leaders and the private sector.
