We are excited to welcome our fall 2025 intern team and share highlights of Peace Boat US programming this year. In September this year, we started off the month with the UNGA at the United Nations Headquarters and Climate Week NYC, which is followed by the Disarmament Month in October, along Peace Boat’s visit on October 16-17. In November, Peace Boat US will join the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 30) in Belem, Brazil with activities and engagements that bring together youth, communities, and global partners in support of peace and sustainability. The interns will support various events hosted by Peace Boat US throughout the NYC Climate week, as well as various programs such as the High-Level Luncheon with RISE UP to bring the voices from UNOC to Belem, and the grand finale with Blue Planet Alliance on September 26th at the Hard Rock Hotel.

She is excited to deepen her passions for disarmament and climate action through the research and advocacy work granted by the internship position at PeaceBoat US this fall.
Delia is passionate about SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), as she believes our struggles are all connected and that liberation means liberation for all. She is convinced that our well-being stems from community and from being with each other.
