Climate Week NYC, taking place each September, returns for 2021 with a focus on fulfilling and increasing commitments made by businesses, governments, and organizations. It is the time and place where the world gathers to showcase leading climate action and discuss how to do more, fast.

Youth for Ocean and Climate Action – September 20

This Global Week to Act 4 SDGs, join us for a Climate Week special IG Live featuring a youth dialogue with Peace Boat’s “Youth for the SDGs” scholar, Silvia Cantu from Mexico, Chair of Sustainable Ocean Alliance Youth Policy Advisory Council, Mark Haver and Peace Boat Ocean and Climate Youth Ambassador, Khadija Stewart. The conversation will be live on Sept 20 from 12:00 PM EDT via the @peaceboatus and @ecovybz Instagram. Tune in and join us in taking action for the SDGs!


Climate Week NYC Partnership Dinner, co-hosted by the Blue Planet Alliance and Peace Boat US – September 21

Representatives from sustainable businesses, the United Nations, NGOs, civil society, artists, musicians and youth who are making a positive impact for our climate will gather to network and strengthen partnerships in working toward lasting change for people and the planet. This event is invitation only.


Climate Week NYC Special Event at the Selina Chelsea New York City – September 23

Co-hosted by the Blue Planet Alliance and Peace Boat US, this Climate Week NYC special event will feature civil society members, NGOs, sustainable businesses, UN partners, artists, musicians and youth leaders who are taking climate action and making a positive impact for the environment and climate crises solutions. The event will feature pop-up exhibitions, speakers, networking, presentations, performances, and more.

Climate Cinema – September 23

Peace Boat US is proud to present Climate Cinema, a series of short and impactful documentaries aiming to raise awareness about climate issues and solutions around the world. This event will be part of the Climate Week NYC Celebration held at the Selina Chelsea New York City.

Climate Week NYC Garden Gathering – September 24

Peace Boat US and partners invite you to join us for an outdoor event at POLLYN, a sustainable plant shop and garden cafe under the famous Mona Lisa of Williamsburg mural. As the first plant store in the country to sell all plants in biodegradable nursery pots, Pollyn aims to bring more environmental awareness to the plant industry with the goal of eliminating single use plastics from the retail experience. We will be closing out Climate Week NYC with a creative program including stunning projections, music and a unique drink selection in a beautiful open and lush green garden space. Please RSVP here.
